Ivermectin is the most common type of treatment for demodectic mange. It’s not hard to understand why – It’s easy to administer and it’s both safe and effective for most cases.

Should you wish to use something else other than Ivermectin however, there are two other pharmaceutical options that you can take.

They are:

- Mitaban baths

- Interceptor

Each of them have their own pros and cons, but it’s fair to say that people have experienced some measure of success with them.

Apart from chemical-based drugs, there are also other acceptable types of treatment, such as:

- Neem Oil

- Tea Tree Oil

- Benzoyl Peroxide Shampoo
